Welcome to Weiss Journal

Same stories and essays in a new home

Welcome to Weiss Journal

As promised in my final Substack note, I have moved my writing and creative home to my personal website here.

Weiss Journal lives here now. You will find the same stories, essays, photography, and audio narrations. Perhaps a few editorial-style cartoons as well. Only here, the work exists without the noise and friction of Substack.

For those who followed me across the digital border, the migration is complete. For those just arriving, welcome. You can learn more about me on the home page.

I am still building out the new site. The past archive is stored away for a time, though a few short pieces are already up. New stories and essays will appear in the near future.

If you have not subscribed to Weiss Journal, I invite you to do so here. The work is free. Elegant and honest writing, free of AI.

You may also want to add john@weissjournal.com to your contacts to prevent my emails from landing elsewhere.

Thank you for sticking with me through the move. And welcome to newcomers.

I appreciate your interest and support.

Warmly,
John

Thanks for reading.

This website is completely free. No subscriptions or paywalls. No AI. I’m a one-man show, relying entirely on reader support. If the work resonates, please consider a one-time donation via Stripe here.
