The Camera Slows Me Down

A trip to Scotland reminded me why I still carry a small camera everywhere. Not for perfect photos. Not for social media. But because the camera slows me down in a world that’s always in a hurry.

On that boat, I noticed the chipped paint, the old winch, the chain drifting in the wind. Things most people overlook. The camera insists I don’t.

Travel expands your world, but the camera deepens it. Put them together and you start to see that the world is full of stories, even the ones you never planned to find.
