Refuges for the Weary Soul

There’s something inviting about the energy, ambient conversations, wafting scents of cooked morsels, and friendly community found in the many little restaurants along the streets and hidden nooks of San Francisco. So many cuisine choices, vibes, and experiences.

Especially on a chilly day.

An almost primal, atavistic urge comes over us when we see the glowing, soft lights within a cozy restaurant, and we hear the voices like fellow travelers huddled around a camp fire in the distant mists of fog. Pubs in Ireland and Scotland make me feel this way, too.

Refuges for the weary traveler and the weary soul.
